An 80% lower receiver is a firearm frame that has not been completely machined, making it not yet a functional firearm. It requires additional work (drilling, milling) to be completed. Under federal law, it is not considered a firearm and can be purchased without a background check. However, you must check your state and local laws before purchasing.

Each Polymer80 frame kit includes the necessary jig and drill bits. You will need a handheld drill or drill press, a vise (recommended), and basic hand tools. The process involves drilling pin holes, removing the tab, and finishing the frame channels.
The PF940v2 is compatible with 9mm, .40S&W, and .357Sig. The PF940C is compatible with 9mm and .40. The PF45 is compatible with 10mm and .45ACP. The PF9SS is compatible with 9mm. Complete pistols are chambered in 9mm.
Yes, all Polymer80 frames are designed to be compatible with factory-spec Glock® components for Gen 3 (3-pin) models. The specific Glock model depends on the frame variant.
